Artists' paintings are protected under copyright laws for 75 years AFTER their death! The family inherits this right. If you pirate an image, you are liable for a minimum fine of $150,000.00. Yes, that's one-hundred-fifty-thousand dollars. I always think that only slick publishers would steal from artists but I've just learned of a potential theft of my images/work right here in Oregon! Please don't even think about it...how can you look at a print you've stolen and enjoy it?
